The Red Flood

Floods occurred in the area Pekalongan of Central Java on Saturday, February 6, 2021. However, the floods that hit the area in Pekalongan, shocked the people with water that was red like blood.

Even a number of photos and videos showing the flood with water red reminiscing about Jalan Pelita 3, Jenggot Village,District Pekalongan Selatan,City are Pekalongan spread on social media.

The results of the investigation regarding the red flood were:

A. On Saturday, February 6, 2021, a check was conducted regarding the red rain puddle on Jalan Pelita 3 Kel. GG's beard. 4 Rt 05 RW 02 Kec. Pekalongan Selatan which went viral on social media.

B. The chronology of the red water is as follows:

On Saturday, February 6, 2021 Since early morning heavy rain caused flooding at the location where red water was found, and the channels around the location were not smooth

C. Residents and members of the South Pekalongan Police tracing the source of the color and found that the red stagnant water came from a red batik drug, weighing about 3 kg wrapped in clear white plastic which was washed away and spilled mixed with rainwater, causing the water to turn red, not from factory waste.
